Issues with Navigation on Mobile Devices and iPads
Some of our users are experiencing difficulties when accessing their course on a mobile phone or iPad. We are using the New Content Experience in Brightspace. A few issues they’ve reported include:
- Not seeing the Next and Previous arrows, or only seeing them partially
- Not seeing the ReadSpeaker (screen reader) bar at the top of the page
- General display issues on mobile devices
Is there a known solution or recommended settings for this?
Also, does using the Pulse App versus the mobile browser on a phone or iPad make a difference in how the course displays and functions?

The Brightspace Pulse app is primarily designed as a companion app, not a complete replacement for the browser version. These are some of the main features of the Pulse App:
- Viewing upcoming deadlines
- Receiving notifications
- Checking grades and announcements
- Accessing some course content
However, it does not support full course navigation or interaction. For example, external links may open in the device's native browser rather than in-app browser to improve user experience and enable new functionality.

For the issues experienced with the New Content Experience and the ReadSpeaker in mobile devices, I kindly suggest opening a Support ticket so that this can be investigated further.
