Assignment Annotations "Note" Issues

Good day,

I received the following campus query a few days ago:

"When editing the Note annotation, the edits do not always reflect. The reproducibility of the error occurs frequently and includes the spellcheck (does not always pull through the correction). This has caused student & lecturer dissatisfaction and frustration because incomplete/not all feedback was captured due to this system fault. There is a similar D2L issue number (02206336) related to switching tabs that includes a workaround that I have advised the lecturer about. However, such a workaround does not support continued use of the feature. "

I see that the same issue is currently on the Known Issues list under Problem Case 2206336.

Do we have an idea or estimate as to when this fault might be resolved?

Thankyou for reaching out to the Brightspace Community. I checked on the defect 02206336 and I see that our developers are actively working on this issue. They are trying to get this critical defect fixed by 20.25.12 update.

While we do not have an ETA on the fix, our Development Team will continue investigating this issue and we will provide an update when information becomes available.
