How to create a final grade scheme that includes A-F and Pass/Fail.

Hello all,

I have an institution that is using a standard letter grade scheme with symbols F-A that correspond to ranges from 0-100. Individual students can take a course to pass/fail. How can I set up a grade scheme that allows some students to receive a final grade symbol of F-A, and other students to receive a final grade of P or F? We import final grades from Brightspace to our SIS, so a solution to this would really help keep our workflows simple.

My name is Mohit and I am a member of the Support Team. If you are referring to an activity having two types of grade schemes, this will not be possible. Activities such as assignments or quizzes can only be linked to one grade item at a time, and each grade item can only have one scheme active at a time. Therefore, it is not possible for a single grade item to have two schemes active simultaneously.
