Moodle to Brightspace - Submission Instructions and Types

Moving from Moodle to Brightspace, all of my courses are by default set to only "File Submission" and I want "File or Text Submission" as the default. Other than going into every assignment manually, is there a faster way to make this change globally for this and every other course I have?

On the same track, but less urgent, all of the assignment submission instructions have old language (appropriate for Moodle (ie. "Add Submission," "Save Changes," etc.). I am manually updating all submission instructions using Brightspace language, as follows:

  • Click the appropriate submission icon link below or use the comments field for plain text.
  • Upload/attach/record/paste your submission.
  • Click Submit.

Again, is there a faster way to accomplish this task for all assignments in every course that has been migrated from Moodle to Brightspace?

    We look forward to hearing from you through the support case.

    Unfortunately, there is no option to bulk edit the Moodle packages that contains the assignments before importing into Brightspace.

    You will have to edit the assignments manually as needed after importing into Brightspace.

    If you would like more options I would suggest the submission of a PIE item, or upvoting one that suits your use case.
