Is there a way to allow staff to download grades after a certain date?

We want to stop our instructors from downloading student grades too early. Is there a way to set a release date?

We're considering if there's a way for the process to be automatic, instead of hiding columns or manually publishing to grade book after.

Currently, Brightspace does not support setting a release date specifically for when instructors can download student grades. The grade export process is manual, meaning instructors can export grades as soon as they have access. One workaround could be to temporarily remove the “Export Grades” permission from the instructor role and re-enable it after the desired release date.

But if you would like more options around exporting grades, I would highly suggest the submission of a PIE item, or upvoting one that suits your use case. You can also create a new PIE item and upvote.
