Widget creation

Good morning,

I created a Widget and had been uploading some material. It is inside a module where several tutors can upload their own material. Unfortunately since we are all learning, I am thinking someone deleted by mistake. How/where can I find my widget. I looked it up where it says "view all" and it is not there either.

Here are a couple of official Brightspace resources that may help locate or recover your missing Widget:

• Restoring Deleted Content: Brightspace allows instructors to restore many types of deleted objects—like Content items—yourself, as long as it wasn’t permanently deleted and you're within 30 days of the deletion.

Next steps to consider:

1. Check whether the Widget still exists in the Content area (i.e., part of the course structure, not just the homepage).
2. If it was part of the homepage and now missing:
   • Log into Admin Tools → Homepage Management → Homepages → select the relevant homepage → click Edit → then Widgets.
   • See if it’s still in the list (perhaps hidden or draft state).
