New to me this semester, my name is now listed as a user when grading quizzes. Furthermore, when I advance throughout the quiz attempts and reach my name, I can no longer advance to the next student. Does anyone know what setting changed for me and how I can take my name off the list of users when grading quizzes and assignments?

    Hello @Jessica.K.338

    Thanks for reaching Brightspace Community.

The reason faculty members are appearing in the grading section of the Quizzes tool is because their roles currently have the permission: Quizzes > Take Quizzes (As Participant).

This has already been identified as a defect (02200306) and is scheduled to be fixed in the upcoming release in September.

In the meantime, below work around can be applied by removing that permission from the affected roles. To do so:

    1. Go to Admin Tools > Roles & Permissions.
    2. Select the role (e.g., Super Administrator) and choose Edit Permissions.
    3. Under Filter by Tool, select Quizzes.
    4. Uncheck all boxes for Take Quizzes (As Participant).

This will prevent faculty members from appearing in the grading list until the release fix is applied.

    Best regards,

    Bharti
