Hello to All! I am new to Brightspace. This is my first question to the group. What do you feel are the most current trends in higher education that does not have enough empirical evidence? For example, I am researching corporate and foundation engagement guidelines in higher education to show leaders the difference the guidelines make in the amount resources the institution can secure.

HI @Michelle.A.1258 I think this is such an interesting question!
Your question here is posted to our main Discussion Forum- and it can happen that sometimes folks are dropping by just to get a quick answer to a specific technical question.

We do have some Community Groups where folks may be more likely to connect on a regular basis.

I might recommend checking out spaces like our Accessibility Interest Group, or Instructional Design Best Practices to see if you re-post your question there if you might hear back from a few more voices.

It's been a while since I was working on my thesis- but at that time I was very interested in learning more about the relationship between national immigration policy and international education benchmarking assessments. Specifically, how might the adoption of a broader approach (or in some cases specific benchmarking exams) be useful to both government planning for sustainable immigration and employment projections as well as individuals assessing their future geographic and economic decisions based on the viability of a path to licensure in a new country.
