I use a third party app. I download .csv that has two columns, student emails and a number value. Student emails match those in D2L. How can I upload these scores into D2L using only the email address?

Thank you for reaching out to the Brightspace Community.
Based on my investigation, importing grades into the gradebook requires the import file to follow a standard format. You can use the Grades Sample Import File as a reference.
Even if you prefer to enter grades via an import file, D2L recommends setting up your gradebook in Brightspace first, regardless of whether you use a CSV, TSV, or TXT file.
If you would like further assistance, I recommend creating a support case and providing the details of the file you are trying to import so we can investigate the issue further.
