Thank you for reaching out to the Brightspace Community.
To insert a link to a PDF stored in Google Drive into a Brightspace course, follow these steps:
- Go to Google Drive.
- Right-click on the PDF file and select "Get link".
- Under "General access", choose:
- "Anyone with the link" (if you want all learners to access it without signing in).
- Or "Your organization" (if restricted access is preferred).
- Click "Copy link".
- Go to your course in Brightspace.
- Navigate to the Content area.
- Select the module where you want to add the link.
- Click "Upload/Create" → "Create a Link".
- In the dialog:
- Title: Enter a name for the link (e.g., "Download PDF Guide").
- URL: Paste the Google Drive link.
- Check "Open as External Resource" if you want it to open in a new tab.
- Click "Create
You can also download the PDF and add the file directly to Brightspace.
