Hiding Course Tiles on my courses page

Currently all courses I have ever taught are displayed on my courses page, each as an individual tile. Is there a way I can hide the tile for some of these older courses? I do not want to delete the course but rather just hide the tile.

    Good afternoon Kathy,
    We can offer you a workaround. You can unpin or pin courses to MyCourses, so that the necessary ones appear first.
    Below is an example of how to unpin and pin courses (note that the screenshots refer to a specific institution, while your institution's homepage may look a bit different):

    Hi Dmitry -

    Thanks so much for your reply. The instructor I am working with is aware of the effects of pinning and unpinning. He simply wants unused course tiles gone. I'm thinking that is not possible.

    To better understand your experience and ensure we're talking about the same display (as some institutions customize the My Courses widget), it would be helpful if you could share a screenshot of what you're seeing. That way, we can confirm if there's an institution-specific setup or workaround that might help.

    Alternatively, your institution’s IT Help Desk or Brightspace Administrator may be able to suggest additional options, especially if custom widgets or tabs are in use. If you need assistance finding the contact information for your help desk I can connect that to you via DM.
