Broken Link Viewer

I have noticed a recent change to the above, which renders "broken links" identified under the term
Colfax-Medium.woff
This change seems to identify broken links where none exist and make this tool useless. Any ideas?

Hello Ellen,
The broken links fonts like the "Colfax-Medium.woff" do not indicate an issue in Brightspace.
Those broken links are triggered by an extension/add-on that the User has in the browser, which
tries to load fonts from the website you're on. If that happens while browsing Brightspace, those loads will return a
404(broken link ) because we don't locally provide those fonts. Our broken link tool will catch that 404 and register.
There's no real way to differentiate between an actual broken link in Brightsape and something manufactured by an extension or something else the end user is doing.
Warm regards,
