How to delete unused files and images from Manage Files database

As I update my course and bring it forward from term to term, I'm probably storing a lot of images that are no longer embedded in lesson material. Is there a way to see where each item in the Manage Files library is being used in the course material? Or a filter to show which items are not currently used so I can delete them?

Based on your description, it appears that there is currently no feature available to delete unused files or images directly from Manage Files.

If you would like more options I would highly suggest the submission of a PIE item, or upvoting one that suits your use case.

You should be able to log into PIE automatically if you are logged into Community. If you're not able to access to from the link that Shobhit shared with you, please try accessing it from the Quick Links widget on the right side of this page or under Resources > Product Idea Exchange (3rd Party Tool).
