Displaying Final Grades

I'd like all my students to be able to view their current, ongoing total points earned. I've acheived this in my 428 class, as indicated by the eye icon, but in the 114, the icon is still crossed off. Unfortunately, I'm not sure how I achieved this in 428, and when I compare all the settings I can think of, they seem set the same way. I'm just getting different results.

Clearly I'm screwing up somewhere. Help.

    Hi @Neil.C.631

To make your final grades automatically update, take the following steps:

    • Go to your grade book display setting (gear icon in the top right corner of your screen)
    • Then go to the 'Calculation Options' tab
    • Then select 'Automatically release final grade'
    • Finally, click 'Save'

    I hope this helps.

@Neil.C.631 You can manually release the final grades. Click the down arrow by Final Calculated Grade and choose Enter Grades. Then select all the students and click Release/Unrelease (which should add checks to all boxes in the Release column) and Save and Close.
