MIDI files
We have a robust Music Industry Careers, Management, etc. department at my institution and they have asked about how to upload MIDI files into Brightspace. I don't see it as a supported file type anywhere and was curious about what others may be doing to support these types of courses.

@Timothy.W.146, many file types can be uploaded into Brightspace and linked to or added as a Content item. For .mid files, if you uploaded it into Content within a Course Offering it would appear like the following:
For Learners to listen to this type of file they would have to download it and open it in another application that directly supports playing a MIDI file. So, it could be said that .mid files are not "supported" since they can't be played within Brightspace, but you can still upload them for Learners to access them.
However, we do have many vendor partners that offer various media hosting, and some of them may support .mid files and then offer an ability to embed those into Brightspace. If you are looking for a way to have Learners play these files directly in their browser/in Brightspace, then I would suggest looking there. Here's a link to our Integration Hub to see some of our vendors/Brightspace integrations. I'm not sure of one that explicitly says that they support MIDI files, but I'm hoping that helps!
