Updating a written response quiz question

I had to add a feedback box to WR question after the students had already submitted the quiz. Now Brightspace says that that question is not in the quiz anymore.

If I update all attempts, will the submissions, feedback, scores be removed from the student's record?

This is one of the weakest parts of Brightspace IMHO. When you edit a question which has already been taken, it makes a duplicate and new attempts get that duplicate with your amendments.

Existing attempts stay as they were when the question was attempted. The update all attempts option is there to let you do bulk corrections, eg giving all students credit for a badly worded question. I don't think it will help you here in terms of adding that feedback field.
