Rubrics for grading coding/programming assignments
Does anyone have any tips on how to use the D2L rubrics for grading coding/programming assignments?
I have looked at the rubrics and do not want to use a Holistic as it is too vague when grading code while an Analytic does not work for me (currently) as I have not come up with a good way to even distribute the points so that the rubric can be applied. For example, I usually have three parts to an assignment (easy, medium and hard) the easy would be worth 2 points, medium worth 3 and hard worth 4 points with the final point being their overall submission (comments, etc).
I would like to be able to use the rubrics in D2L so it will tally their total score for me and can more easily be imported/shared between courses so any suggestions would be appreciated.

I think you just need to set it to Analytic and custom points and then you can make each box worth any arbitrary number of points that you care to allocate.
