How can I replace a SCORM package without affecting peoples current award status?

We have released a course with a scorm package containined. We have noted an error in the SCORM and need to replace with an updated version. There are learners that have completed the current scorm and gained an award for the course. I do not want to replace this scorm and then find it has affected peoples completion status or award.

Thanks for reaching out with your question.

The progress will reset if a user attempts a new version of a SCORM object, but their progress will remain unaffected if they never attempt the new object.
