My students cannot access the correct answers after they write the quizzes. Why is this?

Most likely you will have to set up the Evaluation & Feeback section of your quiz.
You may explore the options under "When published, display to learners:"
You may even set up additional display views in case you would like to change what your students can see after their immediate submission view. Then you must click "Customize Quiz Results Displays":
