Ordering questions and scoring based on answer position
We are in the process of setting up a Mock Exam that includes an Ordering question, but our internal grading scheme does not correspond with any of the existing grading options for this question type. Is there a workaround in Brightspace to apply a custom evaluation system?
For context: we ask a candidate to put 5 answers in order, and the candidate is scored on which position they put the answers in. In the example below, a candidate would score a maximum of 4 points for putting an answer in 1st place, but would get a score ranging from 3 down to 0 if they put it in another position. The questions are not all graded equally (for example, the lowest score a candidate can get for ranking option E is 2).

Hello @Hugh.P.4150
My name is Mohit, and I am a member of the Product Support Team. If I understand correctly, you are looking to create custom grading where users are scored based on the order in which they place their answers, with each answer holding a different variable mark depending on its position.
Currently, it is only possible to select your grading method between Equally Weighted, All or Nothing and Right minus wrong for this type of question. Please refer to the Knowledge Base article on Ordering questions for more information.
