Is there a way to pull survey data for multiple courses through the data hub?

The Advanced Data Set for Survey Results looks to pull only one Org unit ID at a time. Any information is appreciated.

Thank you,

  • Good morning, Kathleen, how are you?

    While it's true that you can only input one OrgUnitId at a time in the Survey Results Advanced Data Set (and this is also true for all other Advanced Data Set), there are two things that you can do that will allow you to pull information from multiple OrgUnitId's.

    1. If you type the OrgUnitId of your organization at the highest hierarchical level (Org level), then the generated data set will include the results of ALL OrgUnits in our organization. This value, by default, is usually "6606" in Brightspace;
    2. If you type the OrgUnitId of a Department, Semester, Course Template or some other higher-level OrgUnit, then the resulting data set will include the results of all the OrgUnits that are nested (i.e.: that are children) of that OrgUnit.

    By doing that, you can extract the results of multiple organizational units at the same time.

    If you would like to check what is the Org level OrgUnitId of your organization, or what the OrgUnitId of any Semester, Department, Course Template &ct. is, please: click on the Admin Tools (cogwheel icon) and selecte "Org Unit Editor": this will allow you to quickly browse through all OrgUnits available.

    I hope you have found this information to be useful. Should you have any additional questions or concerns, please, let me know and I will be glad to further assist you, okay?

    Thank you kindly,

    Piero

    Thank you. Can you pull data from the Department level? I tried but didn't receive any data.

    Thank you,
    Kathleen
