The Advanced Data Set for Survey Results looks to pull only one Org unit ID at a time. Any information is appreciated.
Thank you, Kathleen Benn
Hi, Kathleen,
The Org Unit Editor will allow you to filter for all Departments and, thus, will show you all the Departments that currently exist in your organization, as can be seen here:
https://online.southflorida.edu/d2l/lp/orgUnitEditor/35519/search?searchKeyword=&ouTypeFilter=267
The second column (ID) has the OrgUnitId that you need to input in the Survey Results ADS, here:
https://online.southflorida.edu/d2l/datahub/dataexport/filter?reportId=d3668759-2309-471c-b959-d3835936f5e8
If you are receiving no results from a Department, then this would indicate that, for the selected timeframe and for the selected Department, there is no existing data. If you have a specific Department you are having trouble with, please, let me know and I will investigate it, okay? By the way, I have just checked and the OrgUnitId at the highest hierarchical level (Org level) in your case is not "6606", but it is "35519" instead (this is in case you would like the Survey Results to include all results of all OrgUnits).
Please, let me know if you have any additional questions, okay?
Thank you kindly,
Piero
Good morning, Kathleen, how are you?
While it's true that you can only input one OrgUnitId at a time in the Survey Results Advanced Data Set (and this is also true for all other Advanced Data Set), there are two things that you can do that will allow you to pull information from multiple OrgUnitId's.
By doing that, you can extract the results of multiple organizational units at the same time.
If you would like to check what is the Org level OrgUnitId of your organization, or what the OrgUnitId of any Semester, Department, Course Template &ct. is, please: click on the Admin Tools (cogwheel icon) and selecte "Org Unit Editor": this will allow you to quickly browse through all OrgUnits available.
I hope you have found this information to be useful. Should you have any additional questions or concerns, please, let me know and I will be glad to further assist you, okay? Thank you kindly,
Thank you. Can you pull data from the Department level? I tried but didn't receive any data.
Thank you, Kathleen
Piero,
It worked! Thank you so very much.
