Adding Rubric to Video Assignment

Question

Hi - I'd love some support with how to add a rubric to an existing video assignment. I have published the rubric but when I select "+Add Rubric," I get a fillable rubric. What I want is to find my rubric and attach it to the video assignment.

Thanks for sharing additional information!

If you're using the Bongo Video Assignment, please note that Brightspace Rubrics cannot be added. However, you can use a rubric specifically designed for video assignments. For guidance on how to add a rubric, I've attached an article that can help: Add a Rubric.

Hi Amy-Louise. Thanks so much for responding. Unfortunately, I am not getting the options, that you are getting, when I click on Add Rubric… This is what I see:

A colleague let me know that this is likely because I am trying to add it to the video assignments tool (not the Assignments Tool) in D2L and because video assignments are actually an external tool (called Bongo), I have to use that tool's rubrics and not ones in D2L. Seems really clunky, but so it goes. Thanks again for your support, Amy-Louise!

Hi @Lynne.E.505 You should normally be able to use the option to "add existing" when adding a rubric which will then allow you to search for the rubric you have created.
