Make PIE and Community more cohesive.
If I notice an interesting post on the PIE, there does not seem to be anyway to message the person who posted it. I can "mention" them in a response to the post and hope they get back to me, but there is no way to send them a direct message. I mean, it seems like there is a simple way to do it: click on the "Message" button below the user's name. But actually clicking on that button does nothing:
Nor is there a (reliable) way to message them here on the Community because you don't know their user name. For example, I am Mike Barker on the PIE and Mike.B.559 here on the Community. But how do people know I am not Mike.B.698?
So, while I realize the PIE is hosted on an external service provider (brightidea.co), if the goal is to foster community, links between the two need to be more cohesive and transparent.

@Mike.B.559 I'll connect back with our PIE Team to learn more about the options to improve the messaging options within BrightIdea.
While I don't think we'll be able to connect the user identity across these platforms- are there other tactical ways you'd like to be able to see PIE information in Community or vice versa?
