Adding a FAQ
How can I add my FAQ to my content? I've created one, but can't seem to find a way to include it in the content of my course.

Thank you for reaching out to the Brightspace Community.
There is no way to add a FAQ directly to the contact but you can Insert Quicklink > Insert the URL to the FAQ Tool.
This works as the same as linking a tool in the content topic.

Thanks. That will do the trick, but this really looks like a 'wordkaround'. Why is the FAQ not visible in the list of course materials?

Hi Camila. I tried creating a link to the FAQ through Course Admin and then tried to use that link in my content (instead of using the URL to the FAQ directly). That however does not work. I have to copy the URL to the FAQ every time.
I'm still curious to know why the FAQ is not visible in the list of course materials?

Oh dear… I think the FAQ is not meant to be a FAQ for students… When impersonating a student and then access a link to the FAQ, it shows a 'not authorized' page. Am I missing something?
The FAQ sounds to me as the perfect tool for instructors to inform students about common things like troubleshooting software installation problems.

We created our own FAQ/Resources html page template (using the accordions template), which lives in the Start Here module of every online course. The Start here module can be imported from a project site available to all faculty or they can just input the FAQ/Resources template page since it's saved as a public file.
