Course Publisher and Notifications

I am utilizing course publisher from Canvas to D2L. Students who are enrolled in courses using this process are not able to receive notifications from D2L. They do not even have the "Notifications" option in the menu when they click on thier name in D2L. Is there a way to fix this? Students need to receive notifications when announcements are posted to their courses. Thanks!

    Could you please open a support ticket for this? It appears that this issue may require a deeper investigation.

    If you do not have access to open a ticket, please reach out to your Brightspace administrator, who should be able to open one on your behalf.

    Thanks. I just opened a ticket. Essentially, the notifications bar is missing for Course Publisher users and I would like that enabled.
