Email to Instructor Widget

Question

Hello,

How do I make widget so students can directly email their Professors/instructors by clicking on it? I tried creating using the HTML but found no replacement strings for instructors' email addresses. Is there any other ways?

Meanwhile, to answer on your query on how to create a custom widget and share across the course offerings you can follow below steps

* Go to Admin tools → Homepage management
* Under the Widgets Tab → Custom Widgets section → Click Create Widget 
* Create a custom widget as per your requirement by giving a title , release conditions and content as required. 
* Under the properties tab, click on Add OrgUnits under Make widget available to and select to have the widget shared to Every Course offering under your Organization

Hi @Jangchu.T.508! Although there's no clickable email link option, you can:

* Create a custom widget with the contact information and add it to the course offering/org unit homepage.
* Create an Announcement with contact information and pin it to the top of the Announcement widget.
