certificate template issue

Hi, how can we get the replace text strings in the pdf to work properly for a new certificate template we need to upload? we are using a word doc and saving as a pdf but it keeps showing
{UserFirstName}
instead of the users actual first name, etc

@Charmaine.P.705 Hi Charmaine, you can create the initial PDF with Word, but then you will need to use PDF editing software like Adobe Acrobat Pro to add the replace strings. Here are instructions:
