How can I fix my discussion forum in order to see other student responses

In one of my classes, I have not been able to see other student's responses to a discussion forum. Is it due to not locating where the responses are, or is it something else?

    Hi Gabrielle,

    Usually, discussion posts are visible to all as soon as a person posts, but instructors do have options available that mean you may not be seeing posts from others on purpose. If you are a student, it is likely your instructor may have opted to either hide responses until you have posted a thread to a discussion yourself, or has discussion responses waiting for moderator (instructor) approval before they are visible to other students.
