Students uploading "unusual" assignment file types
Greetings!
I teach an introductory stats class and have introduced my students to an open-source application called JASP. That platform can create files in a .JASP format.
In the past, I have asked students to upload file formats like .doc and .pdf, but this is a new file format for me. I'd like for my students to be able to share their working .JASP files to me in BrightSpace so that I can open them in JASP on my own computer.
Is there a way that I can use BrightSpace to do this?

Hi Darren,
Are the *.JASP files getting blocked? I don't think that we would be blocking those file types. We won't be able to preview those files in the Evaluation page, but you would still be able to download them to evaluate.

Thank you. My student has told that he was unable to upload the file; I realize that the file can't viewed in the Evaluation page, although I should be able to download it to evaluate outside of BrightSpace.
So I'm not sure if some kind of file blocking is going on.
