Posting Announcements on the Homepage

Just wondering if there is a way to post an Announcement on the Homepage but can only be seen by role permission?

Example, a Faculty Survey posted on the Announcements page but can only be read by Instructors and has a clickable url.

Same with Students, Student Survey posted on the Announcements page but can only be read by Students and has a clickable url.

I know there are other ways. i.e. Email.

Just curious if this is possible or do you have other ideas.

    Yes, you can do this, via a release condition!

    When you create your announcement, scroll down to the Additional Release Conditions area and click on the Create and Attach button. Look for the condition type: Role in current org unit (it's under the Classlist tool). Then you can select the Instructor role and when you publish the announcement, only users who are instructors at the org level will be able to see it.
