In order to hide an individual discussion thread, it must be set up to be moderated.
You may create a moderated discussion topic, you may take the following steps:
You may also edit an existing discussion topic to allow for moderation.
Once you have set up your discussion for moderation, you must take the following steps to hide (unapprove) a thread: 1. Click the dropdown menu of the undesired thread
2. Click "unapprove thread" (See below)
