Is it possible to release feedback but hide grades until later?

I had thought the option Hide scores from students in rubric options might do it but, having tested, it doesn't seem to.

    Thanks for reaching us through the Brightspace Community.
    Currently, it is not possible to hide rubric scores from students while still releasing feedback to them.

    However, I have found a PIE item requesting a similar workflow::

    Hide Overall Score on Analytic Rubrics (D9009)
