How come a text grade item isn't an option in intelligent agents?

I have a text grade item i'd like to attach a release condition. Specifically, I'd like D2L to send an email when a user receives a comment in the text grade item. When I try to create this intelligent agent, the text grade item doesn't appear as an option for me to select. Only grade items that are quizzes, assignments, etc. appear as options. Why is this?

    Currently, we do not have this functionality, however, there is a feature request for this in our Product Idea Exchange which is currently under review. I would recommend that to upvote this if you would like to see this feature added to the future release.
