SCORM activity
Hi,
There are 2 ways to add a SCORM file to D2L:
- Through "Add Course Package - SCORM/xAPI" in the Content menu as a link to SCORM file.
- Through Import in Course admin as a SCORM activity.
What is the difference and what option is better to be used?

Hi Sasa,
If you are using new SCORM xAPI, use the content add. Legacy SCORM should use the import feature. Legacy SCORM does not support xAPI objects. So, it depends on what you are bringing into the course.

@Sasa.B.287 Adding via Content will save the SCORM package to the Content Service. It will also be logged in the SCORM and Content Service data sets. Within D2L, you can view the reports at Table of Contents → Related Tools → View Reports → SCORM Reports.
Adding via Import in Course Admin will save the SCORM package to your course's Manage Files area, but it will not be logged in the data sets. Within D2L, you can view the reports at Table of Contents → Related Tools → View Reports → Legacy SCORM Reports.
