I agree we needed this 5 years ago. I have an course that I use an OER textbook and the D2L software for homework, quizzes, test etc. I get so frustrated at how little support D2L gives the mathematics and science areas with their internal software. Try to ask for an answer rounded to the hundreds or put into a fraction format. They have the arithmetic questions type, why can't it have more than one formula. It should not be that hard to add.
