Removing students from sections?

I am helping a colleague who combines his 6 separate classes into one course shell. He has done it successfully for years. This year, we mistakenly put a few students into the wrong section. When we add them to the correct section, they are still a part of the wrong section. We have both searched all over the place and can not find a way to remove him from the incorrect section.

We have even tried UNenrolling the student entirely and re-adding them to the course in the correct section… but he ends up back in both.

In this instance please open a support case with the D2L Support team who can best assist troubleshooting the issue being experienced.

When opening a case with the D2L Support team please make reference to:

• any SIS integration in place if used - IPSIS/OneRoster/D2L Standard CSV etc.
• the method used to merge the courses.
