Discussion Thread Help

There is no "start new discussion thread" button where it should be. How do I start a new thread?

    Thanks for reaching out to the Brightspace Community.

    One of the reasons the "start new discussion thread" button is missing is that it's past the discussion topic's end date. So the discussion topic could be visible and accessible on your end, but not available to start a new thread.

    So I would recommend you reach out to your instructor directly to clarify if that is the case.
