Can you delete a quiz question after a quiz has been taken by students?

I would like to delete a quiz question (changing the points denominator) after students have taken a quiz. I know how to rescore a question but am unclear if I can actually delete it completely. Thanks!

@Jasmine.Parent6969 You can delete the question from future attempts, but it will remain in already completed attempts. I have some directions on fixing grades when deleting a quiz question that may be helpful too.
