Brand new to D2L Brightspace, and this community was recommended for learning about the system. I'm trying to figure out an intelligent organization to my classes and groups and so forth, so I'll be back here looking for info I'm sure. This is my first post, so hopefully I can get approved for full access!

Re: Set a release condition without completely hiding the assignment?

Hello,

I’m setting up an online course and I want to use release conditions to control access to content. I noticed that when I add release conditions at the course level, the whole course becomes hidden until the conditions are met.

What I’m hoping for is slightly different:

I’d like certain units/modules to appear in the course navigation (so students can see them are coming up), but remain greyed out and inaccessible until the release conditions are met.
I have no due dates in the course, so I don’t want content to be automatically released based on dates—just based on completion of prior activities or other conditions.

Has anyone successfully configured release conditions this way, so students can see upcoming units but not access them yet? Any guidance would be appreciated!

I don't think that it's possible to set a default for hyperlinks copied in from a Word Document in Brightspace.
I recommend submitting your idea to the Product Idea Exchange so that it can be reviewed by our Product Management Team and considered for a future feature release

This issue may require further investigation to determine if it's related to permission, user creation, or another configuration that is causing the issue.

I think it would be a good idea to have a support agent take a closer look at things.

Hello,
Microsoft has announced they are retiring the Teams Classes LTI and Teams Meetings LTI . They are being replaced by the Microsoft 365 LTI App which has been available since July of this year.
