I'll be excited when I'm no longer arbitrarily assigned a weird conglomeration of part of my name and random numbers!

"…modify excellent Moodle quizzes to become mediocre Brightspace quizzes."
Exactly right!
Re: Multiple Choice vs Matching Quiz for Answers with Numbers
@Mike.B.559 Thank you for sharing these ideas with me! I have voted and hope that changes can be implemented in the near future!
I am used to drag and drop / drop down menu quizzes in Moodle. I can't believe that Brightspace doesn't have these quiz types. It has been a huge headache for me to modify excellent Moodle quizzes to become mediocre Brightspace quizzes. I often had to resort to fill in the blank questions where I had to create a word bank and suggest that students copy and paste the answers (so spelling isn't an issue).
Re: Copying Awards/Certificates across courses or other Brightspace instances
Hi Sarah,
Within the same Brightspace environment Awards can be reused in 2 different ways:
- Awards can be 'shared' with other users in other course who are in a role with role permissions required to create them:
- When creating/editing an Award under Availability you have 2 options:
- Make this award available to all of my courses.
- Make this award available to other award creators and their courses.
- When creating/editing an Award under Availability you have 2 options:
- Using the Import/Export/Copy Components tool > Copy Components from another Org Unit and copy the Award(s) from one course to another.
These 2 options allow you to share and reuse Awards across courses.
Unfortunately at this time it is not possible to copy Awards between Brightspace environments using the Import/Export/Copy Components tool when selecting the: Export as Brightspace Package; or Export as Common Cartridge; or Export as Thin Common Cartridge.
The idea to export course awards as part of a course package is a good one! You should consider submitting it into the Product Idea Exchange for review.
Hope that helps!
Video publishing errors
Uploads always work out fine but on the "importing" page I am getting a few errors, most commonly "Index was outside the bounds of the array" or "thread was being aborted"
also "size was 324958762 but 823450386 was expected" or some variation.
Does anyone have any familiarity with these issues and can direct me to what might be going wrong?
Thank you in advance!

Is is possible to have students draw simple graphs in a Brightspace quiz?
I'm asking this question on behalf of an economics professor. He would like his students draw simple line graphs as part of a quiz. I don't expect machine grading, just the ability to draw and submit simple line graphs.
The best solution I have come up with so far is to insert a written response question and allow learners to insert images and add attachments. However, this requires students to use a third party tool to actually draw the graphs, which createspotential academic integrity issues.
Any alternative ideas?
Thanks!
Jesse
