Unfortunately at this stage we do not have any timeline to share regarding the support of matching, arithmetic, significant figures, and multi-short answer question types in the New Quiz Evaluation Experience.
I recommend opening a case with the D2L support team, or connecting with your institutions Customer Success Manager requesting support of the unsupported question types. Information will also be shared through the Release Information and Release Notes Updates.

All questions are good! I have a couple of answers for you regarding the MathType editor, but not all. I recommend having your support team open a case with the D2L Support team to provide a response for those issue/questions I 'm unable to respond to, or in which you need additional information.
- The default font and size in the MathType editor is Arial 16px. This can be seen in the code view in the MathType editor. The display view in a quiz always appears to use the Times New Roman font.
- From my testing when changing the scale it applies across all subjects in which you are using the editor, and rendering the questions.
- Again from my testing the scaling only applies on a user-by-user basis for a personal view.
- Please open a case with the Support team to investigate.

At this stage there are no APIs available to create quiz questions.
For API development and testing activities please contact your institutions Brightspace Administration team to see if a test/development Brightspace environment is available. Most, if not all D2L clients have access to a test environment.
Importing quiz questions through the UI in a file or package at the Course Offering level you have several options:
- IMS Common Cartridge 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3; IMS Thin Common Cartridge 1.3; QTI 1.2/1.21, see using the Import/Export/Copy Course Components tool
- 1EdTech’s Common Cartridge specification documentation, see

Re: Can you embed a website in NCE?
There are multiple potential reasons why a site won't embed in another, and these are generally due to the security configuration of the site that you're attempting to embed.
- The site isn't using HTTPS for encrypted connections
- You can easily check this by looking at the URL you're using
- The site is using the X-Frame-Options response header to block page rendering
- The website uses a CSP policy that prevents embedding
Security configurations of site headers can be highly customized, and therefore you may be able to work with the site admins to have them essentially whitelist your domain in order to allow embedding, but that will be up to them. If it is indeed security settings on their end (which is rather likely), then you're at their mercy.

Thanks! I neglected to actually choose a color. When none is selected as the option in the color picker it doesn't display the display panel. Thanks for the answer.

Hi @Alan.P.39 . In the Admin Settings > Navigation and Themes, in the Themes tab, you can set the Primary Color to Use the Default (muti-color) or you can choose a single color. You can check the navbar color on the Themes tab:
- Click the theme that you are using.
- Under Primary Color, verify that the Choose colors radio button is selected.
- If not, select Choose colors, click the color picker, and select a color.
- Click Save and Close.
Creating a quicklink to a content module
I'd like to create a quicklink to a content module. I know how to create a quicklink to a single item of content, but I don't seem to be able to create a link to a module of content. I'd like to be able to point students to, let's say, this week's work is in the Topic 1 module, or watch all the videos in this other module.
There's a PIE item https://desire2learn.brightidea.com/ideas/D545?idea_count=2 which says it was implemented 6 years ago, but the link to the documentation just leads back to this site. I can't find anything on quicklinks to modules here. Is this still a feature of D2L?
