Why do awards shared to LinkedIn show D2L as the issuer?
When creating an award, we specify the issuer name, issuer url and email. But when sharing an award to LinkedIn or Badgr, the issuer comes in as D2L and the student/award earner would need to adjust this themselves. Is this by design? Or could it attempt to match the issuer name that we entered on the award?

It's interesting on how all support languages are free yet languages in brightspace are a cost item. Bit of a cultural expectation difference. Especially when a organization may exist in countries that officially have more than one langauge. Historically companies normally support and implement the country's official languages for free and have additional language packs that may or not be free. Wordperfect, and more relevently microsoft come to mind. 🥲. Just saying.

I believe the different language packages need to be purchased, but it could depend on what product your institution currently has purchased.

This does sound strange considering you have been able to achieve the intended outcome in other instances. Can I suggest you create a support case so that our folks can have a closer look at what may be going on in your learning instance?
Cropping image function
I have an issue cropping images within Brightspace. It starts zoomed in very closely to the image, and I am unable to zoom out so I can crop the image i.e. the zoom out button doesn't work. Has anyone had this issue or can identify why this is happening to me? Thanks

@Julie Low558 Thank you for your reply. Indeed, webcontent now opens in the default browser app. Apparently, it has LTI integration benefits. However, using the Pulse app now to look at web content has a desktop/laptop experience of Brightspace and not an app experience anymore. I find this suboptimal, albeit I'm aware of the aforementioned benefits.

What we do is make what we call Master Courses.
Then give the people who need to make changes to that Master Course the Faculty/Instructor role.
Then give the people who need to copy it into their Real Course a Student/Learner Plus role. (Which is a role copied from our Student/Learner role with one added permission right to copy courses)
Then the Faculty/Instructor can go into their real course and use Import/Export/Copy to Copy the Master Course or parts of it.

for example! This is a horrible waste of space -- it seems every cell is triple spaced, so you can't see more than ten students at a time.

And I just found https://community.brightspace.com/s/article/00938357! However, there doesn't seem to be another way to print without downloading first? Is there a way to suppress printing the "annotations" page?

We are looking at this with IT and understand some users of Legacy Community are not able to access Questions there. It is not a planned part of the transition from Legacy to New Community that only some users can access Legacy Questions. Stay tuned for an update!
