Option to add a DUE date when creating a Discussion
Why is there no option for adding a DUE date (not END date) when creating a Discussion? I would like to see the options for adding dates to be the same as they are when creating a quiz (dates for DUE, START, and END) so that the student still has the ability to submit past the due date. At this time we only have the option of a START and END date for a Discussion and it is not very student or faculty friendly.

It's an interesting idea, but I don't use availability dates. I let my students submit late (with a late penalty). Also, many of my students depend heavily on the Student Work to Do widget, so it's very important for the disussion boards to have due dates.

There is a config variable which will show the OrgDefinedID against an otherwise anonymous user.
I think ultimately the solution is to look at your workflows and why some students are having their work published before others are graded - would splitting it across multiple assignments with release conditions help?

So far, I have unzipped both the (1) template package and (2) course package, and have done so both (A) locally on my hard drive and (B) within a course shell via Manage Files (as per the documentation)

In all four cases, when I open the sample HTML pages the links to images, css, js, etc. all appear to be broken. All I see is plain text.
I am not an LMS administrator at my institution, but I thought that it would at least work locally or that the course package would work in a course shell.
Am I doing anything wrong? Alternatively, will the code snippets provided in the Elements submodule of the D2L Learning Centre work with previous templates like version 3?

DELETE /d2l/api/lp/(version)/enrollments/orgUnits/(orgUnitId)/users/(userId)

@Claire.D.2, The removal of LastAccessed, FirstLoginDate from the Users BDS in Version 10 is really bad news for my institutions. The goal of eliminating 'redundancy with datasets around user logins and sessions' is appreciated, but those other data sets do not cover all use cases (primarily historical information or quick validation). The inclusion of 'LastAccessed' in July 2020 was a great benefit, that is now being removed. How can we ensure those high-value columns stay in place?

Has any progress been made on fixing this issue? I have tried all the fixes listed here and they do not make a difference. The work around of remembering to wait 2-3 seconds every time we go to write a comment is a real pain.
