Quizzes QTI Import

I'm reaching out to see if anyone can say if the direct QTI (.ZIP) import feature through quizzes (not Import/Export/Copy Components) has changed recently. I have an instructor who says it always worked, and now doesn't. Looking at what they provided it appears to be a Blackboard format question pool inside the .zip.

The .zip file DOES import through the Import/Export/Copy Components tool in Course Admin, but takes much longer, I'm assuming at the "conversion" step.

I assume the quizzes QTI import is much narrower than the Import/Export tool, but is there a specification for what's accepted there?

Any guidance is appreciated. thanks!

    Hi Jonathan - no - there hasn't been any recent updates to the QTI import within Quizzes - it only supports up to version 1.2 of the standard.

    In the Course Import tool, you can import packages that are QTI 2.x and 3.x but only a certain subset of features in those standards are supported.
