Different NCE (Lessons) displays?

Hi D2L,

I noticed that there seems to be visual differences even when using NCE. I noted the differences between two of my courses and I would like to find out why. Could you share please? Thank you.

Most of our courses still retain the visual look and feel of the left display. But, the right display shows a sleeker visual, as the space above the unit/folder is reduced compared to the one on the left. How may we toggle for the layout shown on the right?

    Hello @Yi Yan.L.782, thank you for your question.

    The Table of Contents you're seeing on the right image is the Enhanced Table of Contents, which is controlled by the config variable

    d2l.Tools.Content.EnableLessonsEnhancedTOC

    This config variable allows you to enable the Enhanced TOC for your entire environment, or on a per-course/per-department/etc.
