Course reset via API

Is there an API route to perform a course reset or can course resets only be performed via the GUI?

In our institute we work with Template/Master modules which are used as source for course offerings, When a new offering is created the template/master will be copied into that offering so all materials and activities are available. Sometimes a teacher updates a lot of content in an offering and so we would like to update the template/master with the content of that offering. To achieve this we first have to reset the template/master to make it empty and than copy the updated offering into the template/master. This last step is no problem because the API supports course copies but I can't find an API route to perform the course reset

    Hello Arald, Thanks for your great question.

    At this time, we do not have an API to complete the reset of a Course Offering.

    I did check out Product Idea Exchange and there's an idea that was submitted (D9347) but at this time is doesn't appear to be under consideration by our product team. However, you can still add your vote and comments onto the idea.
