Does permission Content Service / Search for [ROLE] exist?
Hi all. In the December notes it is mentioned in "Media Library – Share folders using role-based collaborators | New" that permission
- Content Service > Search for [ROLE] is required to search for users in a given role to add them as collaborators.
I do not see that permission in the Permissions matrix? Is a typo? Is it perhaps based on the role interaction "Search for [ROLE]" on organisation level?

Hello @Birgitte .B.96,
Thank you for reaching out to the Brightspace Community.
In response to your question regarding the Content Service > Search for [ROLE] permission, you can find the permission listed here: Content Service Permissions
Based on your description, I recommend having a Support agent take a closer look.
If you are the ASC/Admin for your organization, please refer to our documentation on creating a Support case or service request. A member of our Support team will be happy to assist you.
Regarding your second question about controlling whether a role has access to “Add Role”, we will need to confirm this internally. I would also suggest to include this inquiry within the same Support case to facilitate accurate tracking.
Thank you!
Ana

I just tested and "Add Role" is controlled by the role interaction "Search for [ROLE]" on organisation level.
But instead of not allowing to search for any roles, which would be poor UX, we would like to control whether a role has access to "Add Role" at all. Is that possible? -
Hi Ana. Sure I will create a support case. Regards, Birgitte

Hi @Ana.A.776 I see now that the release notes have been updated - now it says Users/Search for [Role].
The Content Service permissions page has not yet been updated, but I guess it will be soon.
