Please change the default deadline time from midnight to 5 pm
Dear D2L,
My institution uses your product for content delivery. I would like to re-think your default deadline time of midnight for assignments and quizzes. As you're likely aware users typically adopt default parameters in programs. There is ample evidence that midnight deadlines do not promote healthy work life balance in students. Therefore, please consider changing the default from midnight to something more reasonable like 5 pm. I am aware that users can change the deadline time but I have found at my own institution that instructors use the default simply because they cannot be bothered to change it.

I understand that you would like to change the default due date time at the organisation level, but unfortunately, it isn't currently possible. However, I did find an existing idea on our Product Idea Exchange: Default 'Due Date' Time setting for the Assignment tool (D8596)
May I suggest you upvote this idea, as this gives visibility to our internal team on which feature is most requested, and further consider the feature request.

To access Community resources such as PIE and the Learning Center, members are required to select their organization from the dropdown list on the registration page. You can type in the dropdown field to find and select your organization name. You can also update your profile following the steps outlined in this article: https://community.d2l.com/brightspace/kb/articles/5459-community-faqs#i-can-t-connect-to-some-courses-in-d2l-academy-ex-pie.
In this case, you can select College of Charleston from the dropdown menu, which will automatically populate your Brightspace instance. Once the correct organization name is selected from the Organization Name dropdown, you should gain access to the resources.
