Does the Google Homework Helper+ extension work in BrightSpace?

If it does, are there ways to prevent it from working without third party tools.

The page for this extension boasts:

    This is an important and timely question.

    Brightspace cannot control the features, tools, and plug-ins enabled on our user's browsers.

    For higher-stakes quizzes or exams, solutions like lockdown browsers or integrated proctoring can help limit access to outside tools like this Homework Help option during exams. We are in discussions with Google about this feature and they are requesting that you share feedback on Google Homework Helper at this link.
