Is a late deduction option for quizzes or assignments being developed?

I am aware that late assignments completed after a due date but before an end date are flagged. However, will an automatic deduction function be developed in the future for late quizzes or assignments? Has this been considered? This function is available in Canvas and publisher products such as Pearson Mastering.

    Hi. @tcruz1@pima.edu - This has definitely been on our radar for a while. It's not on our external roadmap, so I can't say much, only that it has been worked on recently and we're well aware of it.

    To guide your request to the appropriate team and for you to have your feedback heard in shaping the future of the Brightspace Product, I would encourage you to create a Product Idea in the PIE tool where Product Managers frequently review requests to evolve the future of the Brightspace product.

    As of now this item is not on the product roadmap!
